  What are the parts of a Shark?
Even though there are many different types of sharks, they all have a similar body structure:
eyes-helps them to see even in low light
skin- rough skin to protect them and prevent injury gills-helps them breathe underwater
dorsal fin-located on the middle back; used for stability and balance as they swim
tail fin-helps them achieve fast speed
Did you know?
The inside of a shark’s body is
made up of cartilage. Cartilage is lighter than bones and gives them the flexibility to bend and swim faster through water!
