We create an altar for el “Día de los Muertos” to mark a sacred space

in our homes. In that sacred space, we honor and remember those

members of our family and friends that have gone before us, and we pray
that they be united with Jesus in eternal joy. The altar includes favorite
objects and foods of the departed, flowers, skulls, as well as memorable

photos during his/her lifetime.
