IN THEIR OWN WORDS...

“I've had some memorable moments...like when I went on my initial

interview at the CJO Plant and almost all the Department heads were

there, it reminded me of a review board from my military days and I

thought “Wow, I am only applying for the janitor job!”

Another moment I will never forget... on my first day of meter reading, I

went to my third house, knocked on the door and identified myself. An

elderly lady let me in and I immediately saw a dead body on the floor. I

asked if I could be of any assistance to which she replied it was her

brother and he passed in the night, but the coroner was on the way. I

quickly told her I would come back later but she replied "No", and

showed me to the basement. I got the meter reading.” - Mel Jellison
