Air Law
White flag shaped like a hand weight means that takeoff,
landing, and taxiing of aircraft must only take place on
runways and taxiways.
A hand weight with a black stripe on each circular face
means that takeoff and landing must take place on
runways, but other maneuvers can be performed off runways and taxiways.
Solid-colored crosses in a conspicuous color, white or yellow, mean
that parts of the area where they are placed are unusable for
aircraft.
Landing T: Indicates the takeoff and landing direction. Land at the
base of the T.
This aircraft is landing in the correct direction!
A two-digit number placed vertically on or near the tower indicates
the Runway in use for aircraft on the maneuvering area, expressed
in magnetic decagons.
Right Traffic: An arrow pointing to the right in a conspicuous color
means that turns after takeoff or before landing should be made to
the right.
Air Traffic Control Reporting Office: A "C" on a yellow background is
placed where the reporting office is located. That is where you need
to report when you land.
A double "+" symbol means that gliding operations are in
progress.
1.5.8.2 Runway signals and markings
When driving a car, it is important to adapt to the surrounding traffic.
One of the ways we are informed about what to do in traffic is through signage.
