                  - Approach Control Service:
Provided for parts of controlled flights concerning arrival and departure,
                      mainly in terminal areas (TMA).
                  - Tower Control Service:
Provided for airfield traffic in control zones, except for the parts of flights
                      covered by approach control services.
                1.5.2.2 Flight information service
                  - Includes aerodrome flight information service.
This service is provided within the flight information region (FIR) and in
                      traffic information areas and zones.
                1.5.2.3 Alerting service
                  - Provided within the flight information region (FIR).
                  - Approach, Tower, and local AFIS services ensure this in airspace where
contact is maintained with these units.
                  - Alerting Service:
All flights with a flight plan have an alerting service from takeoff to landing.
If the aircraft does not arrive at the destination on time, the alerting
service is activated. A search begins 15 minutes after the planned arrival,
and after 30 minutes, a supervisor at the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre
(JRCC) in Aarhus is contacted to take over the search, possibly with
assistance from the police or rescue helicopters.
Copenhagen Information is responsible for this outside-controlled
                      airspace.
