5. PHRASEOLOGY
5.1 Introductions
The standard words and phrases and their meanings are given in this chapter.
They cover general phraseology, co-ordination between units and various
procedures as well as the whole range of services available on area, approach,
ground and radar control.
In order to get some idea of the use of correct phraseology let us consider a VFR
(visual flight rules) flight from Herning to Stauning with some radar assistance
from Karup Radar along the way. Remember, we are only talking about VFR
communications here.
