6.9.2.3 Separation minima

Here is a table with separation minima when taking off after another aircraft.

There is a division into Wake Turbulence

Category, which determines how long
after it is allowed to take off/land.

In our aircraft, we will look at the Light

category (which is 7000 kg or less).

If we are going to take off after a Super

Heavy, we can see that 3 minutes must

pass.

After a Heavy or Medium, 2 minutes must

pass.

Remember that you can request to wait further before you want to take off!

If you are going to land after a Super Heavy

aircraft, at least 4 minutes must pass.

If you are going to land after a Heavy or

Medium, 3 minutes must pass.
