                ATC (Air Traffic Control Service) – Air Traffic Control Service
                The air traffic control service is responsible for:
                 a)  Preventing collisions between aircraft
                 b) Preventing  collisions  on  the  maneuvering  area  between  aircraft  and
                     obstacles, and promoting and regulating air traffic
                ATS Authority – The authority designated by the relevant state as responsible
                for the provision of air traffic services in a specific airspace.
                Alert Phase – A situation where there is concern for the safety of an aircraft
                and its occupants. Code designation ALERFA.
                BL – Regulations for Civil Aviation, Denmark
                CTA (Control Area) – A controlled airspace extending upwards from a defined
                boundary above the earth's/water's surface.
                CTR  (Control  Zone)  –  A  controlled  airspace  extending  upwards  from  the
                earth's/water's surface to a defined upper boundary.
                FIR  (Flight  Information  Region)  –  A  defined  airspace  within  which  flight
                information and alarm services are provided.
                FIS (Flight Information Service)
                FIZ (Flight Information Zone) – An uncontrolled airspace created around an
                uncontrolled aerodrome, extending upwards from the earth's/water's surface
                to a defined upper boundary.
                Flight Visibility  –  The visibility ahead from the cockpit of an aircraft during
                flight.
                Apron – A defined area at an aerodrome intended for aircraft to remain during
                refueling, passenger or cargo loading/unloading, parking, or maintenance.
                Expected Off-Block Time – The time at which an aircraft is expected to begin
                taxiing for takeoff.
                Approved Aerodrome – An aerodrome that has been approved by the Danish
                Civil Aviation Administration for a specific activity.
                Applicable  Flight  Plan  –  The  flight  plan,  including  any  changes  made  by
                subsequent clearances.
