Air Law

Sensitive natural areas are marked on maps and Visual Approach Charts.

Flights below 1000 feet must be avoided!

Overflight of fur farms, especially between mid-April and late June, can cause

animals to abort or kill their young. Fur farms may warn of low-level flights by

placing a white pyramid with a red "P" painted on it. Mette has ensured this is

not currently relevant, but it may become relevant again in the future, so it’s
                important to be aware.

When public safety or military reasons require it, the Minister of Transport may

restrict or prohibit access to aviation within certain areas.

                1.5.5 Airports and airfields

An airport is defined as a land or water area (including buildings, installations,

and equipment) intended for use, either wholly or partially, for arriving,

departing, and maneuvering aircraft on the

                ground.

                1.5.5.1 Airfield symbols

The table here shows some symbols for various

types of airfields. The table can be found at the
back of the ICAO map. Always check the local

rules before flying to an airfield.

Red Color: Be aware – there may be

                parachuting activities and/or gliders with

                towing up to 2500 ft.
