“Left heading 270, SPD".

               Avoiding Action
Avoiding action to be taken by the pilot will be given whenever the controller

considers that there would be a collision risk if no action was taken.

“SPD, avoiding action turn left immediately heading 270, traffic right 2
                       o’clock same level converging”.

                        “Left heading 270, SPD”

               When the risk has passed:
                        “SPD, resume own navigation”

                        “Wilco, SPD”.

              4.4 CONDITIONAL CLEARANCES

Conditional clearances are given by ATC in the following format:

                  1. Call Sign
                  2. The Condition

                  3. The Clearance

                  4. The Condition
When the clearance involves an active runway, both the controller and the pilot

must have seen the aircraft or vehicle concerned.

              Example of a conditional clearance:

“SPD behind the landing Airbus RWY 27 line up behind and wait”
The readback of a conditional clearance must follow the same pattern with the

              aircraft callsign at the end.

“Behind the landing Airbus RWY 27 line up behind and wait, SPD”
