KATE EVANS
PQE: 19 years
Kate joined DJB in 2015 following a career at Fladgate. Kate has extensive experience in the sale and purchase of retail property, industrial units and of ce space. She also notably advised on a variety of lease work for a national chain of shoe retailers, has undertaken estates management work for an International Logistics Company and advises on numerous public sector clients including Highways England and Woking Borough Council.
LEE MCBRIDE
PQE: 28 years
Lee joined DJB in 2020 following a career as Head of Environment at Gowling WLG and specialises in contaminated land issues. Lee notably acted for: the Bank of Ireland on the UK aspect of a £500m acquisition of a portfolio of hotels worldwide; a joint venture between a national property developer and construction company on their sale of substantial elements of the £2bn New Covent Garden Scheme; and a national property developer in relation to the sale of a remediated former BP site.
KEVIN FRY
Experience: 31 years
Kevin joined DJB in 1999 as an Associate Legal Executive following a career with the Government Property Lawyers and the Treasury Solicitor’s Department. Kevin has undertaken: the supervision of Right to Buy sales on behalf of Poole Housing Partnership and other local authorities; property work on behalf of Highways England; licenses for works, encroachments and retained works for The Royal Parks; and voluntary registration work for National England, the Environment Agency and others.
LOUISA SWANTON
PQE: 24 years
Louisa joined DJB in 2017 following a career at Lovells and has particular expertise in agricultural property. Louisa’s career highlights include: advising The Royal Parks in relation to permitting the construction of a 2-storey basement beneath Admiralty Arch; acting for a Hong Kong conglomerate buying developed land for regeneration as housing; and advising on a 450-acre development of land on the banks of the Thames.
KIRSTEN DUNLOP
PQE: 17 years
Kirsten joined DJB in 2020 following a career at Shepherd & Wedderburn and Winckworth Sherwood. Kirsten’s career highlights include: acting for the Scarborough Group on the acquisition of two multi-let mixed-use portfolios for £156m and £200+m; representing both developers and land agents on property aspects of onshore solar farms; and acting for property investors on various portfolio re nancings with major lenders and alternative lenders such as ICG Longbow.

Louise joined DJB as a Consultant on Corporate Transactions in 2018 followingacareeratAllen&Overyand Pinsent Masons. Louise specialises in corporate nance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, capital raising and listings and more.
