P. 115
The context below is an expanded explanation. If you
are a leader of a tabernacle prayer session, memorize the
information below, and recite it to the participants at the altar
of burnt of-fering.
You are already a temple of God (1 Corinthians 3:16).
What does it say concerning the temple and the dweller of
the Temple?
“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and
that God’s spirit lives in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16)
Correct. The Holy Spirit dwells within us. This has already
been obtained by us through the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
As the Apostle Paul mentioned, the baptism of the Holy
Spirit is received by confessing that Jesus is the Christ and
that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). After the
baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit dwells within us.
As stated, baptism of the Holy Spirit turns our body into a
temple.
What doesn’t make sense is that the Holy Spirit dwelling
in us never actually shows up. Who is the Holy Spirit? He is
God. God lives in our body but we do not see any powers of
God or even the holy attributes of God. How can this be?
