hear the voice of the Holy Spir-it, once you do, you may well

be very surprised, or may even fall backwards. But meeting
with the Holy Spirit occurs very naturally. An understanding

may take place after an actual meeting with the Holy Spirit,
but the spirit certainly doesn’t work around ‘fear’. It is as if

seeing a very old friend, very welcoming and warm.
Another misunderstanding, is thinking that the Holy Spirit

is not an actual being. Even a couple of centuries ago, the
belief that the Holy Spirit was a non-being was widespread.

Though that thought is starting to change, some still do think
that way.

The Holy Spirit is a being. As if you were talking with a
friend, the Holy Spirit is that real. It is not some automated

machine that pours out an electronic voice. By walking
with the Holy Spirit, it has occurred to me that the spirit is

a perfect being. The spirit is not strict and command-ing,
or authoritative in treating us as lowly beings, and he does

not pressure us. The spirit is al-ways gentle, kind and big-
hearted, who is ready to answer any questions that I might

have. The Holy Spirit is the good teacher and guide for us all.
