RADIO HARTLEPOOL
Supporting Hartlepool’s Local Musicians and Bands on Radio for Over Twelve Years
Another way of being heard on Radio Hartle-
pool is to request a slot on my very own ‘Lee at
Lunch’ show, on our ‘Music Monday’ segment.
Not only do I chat to my musical guests and
find out their musical influences etc but they
are also encouraged to play a live session in
our studio, if possible. Although a live show
appearance can be initially nerve wracking
for some people, I have had positive feedback
from a lot of past guests that they felt a lot
more at ease after they realised the inter-

As the person responsible for the main playlist
(amongst many other tasks!) I am open mind-
ed as to including Hartlepool musicians. At
the time of writing we have the lastest singles
from Khalysis (‘Rumba’), Lost State Of Dan
(‘The Void’) and Ocean Floor (‘Deep’) on our
‘A’ and ‘B’ rotation lists. This means they have
a potential of being played up to eight times a
day which is great exposure for up and coming
talent. To be considered for the playlist, the
songs should be catchy and memorable and
