RAISE YOUR GLASSES

                     The fire’s flames glow
                    The sun’s shadows grow
While the good times carry on
                       As the drinks flow
                     The stories told show
                  Together is where we belong

Now the stars fill the sky
                       As time passes by
                    While we all reminisce
                       Of forgotten years
                      And all of the fears
                  We secretly tried to dismiss

So raise your glasses my friend
For good times ‘til the end
                      We’re feeling alright
                   Underneath the moonlight
Who knows when we’ll meet again
So raise your glasses my friends

                     I wish on this evening
                    The clock was deceiving
                     So we could linger on
                       Reliving old times
                     Disputing old crimes
                    Until the break of dawn

                     The time is now here
                      So finish your beer
                   Or your libation of choice
                     The lights are now on
                      So come sing along
And let me hear your voice

So raise your glasses my friends
Tonight has come to an end
                      Tomorrows arrived
                    Looks like we survived
So raise your glasses my friend
Can’t wait to see you again
                   Yesterday’s been archived
                     Somehow we survived
So raise your glasses... my friends
