                           Mama (6/22/19)                     Danielle Erwin is a stay at home, home schooling
                                                              Mom of 4.
                      See the clouds in the sky
                   With the sun peeking through               She lost two babies in a row through miscarriage in
                          That’s me, Mama                     January and August, 2018. Since then, writing lyrics
                           Talkin to you                      has been her grief’s catharsis.
                    Peering through the darkness
                           That little light                  Danielle has written over 100 lyrics/poems, and is
                            Is me, Mama                       in the process of editing and publishing them along
                          Watchin tonight                     with a book of reflections on loss, as inspired by her
                                                              two miscarriages and a Lenten Devotional for
                     I know you miss me, Mama                 women who have experienced pregnancy loss.
                  I know you long to hold me close
                        I see you desperately,                She hopes to reach other women who have
                  Wishing you could count my toes             experienced pregnancy loss through her lyrics, and
                     I’m watchin’ for ya, Mama                to give them hope through their sorrows.
                When you get to the end of your road
                    It’s me Mama, waitin’ for you             Danielle is open to collaborating with someone who
                                                              can help her to turn her poetry and lyrics into songs.
                          I left a little early
                        Sorry I left you alone                She wrote the song lyrics, “Mama,” on her way to a
                         God called, Mama                     church Moms group night out at a local restaurant.
                           So I had to go

                     I’m watching for ya, Mama                his due date anniversary had just passed.

                   I’m here Mama, waitin’ for you             It’d been a hard week.


                   Even though we’re so far apart             The light was as if he was trying to tell her
                    I’m always alive in your heart            something...and so she wrote as if she heard him
                                                              talkin’ to her.
