        JAMIE AINSLIE

Former frontman of Hartlepool band Aces & Sinners,
Jamie Ainslie, tells us about his new release, Recover

amie starts his new musical venture
with a departure from heavy rock
Jmusic and has shifted towards a some-
what folk acoustic core with a collection
of songs influenced by artists such as Oa-
sis and Frank Turner. Prior to “Recover”,
Jamie’s releases have been through Aces &
Sinners EP’s Feel the Fire (2015) and Aces
& Sinners (2016) respectively. The power
        trio’s achievements include finishing run-
ners-up at the Soundwave Music Com-
petition in 2015 and performing for JAR
Music Live’s “Ones to Watch” showcases,
both of which took place at Newcastle’s 02
        Academy.
