THE TRUTH
Vanquishing the various barriers and the masks
That we put on, our own sometimes, sometimes tasked
Truth is that which seers through them all
It may not be always pleasant to recall
But it is the truth only that seers us clear
And absolves us from all uncertainties and fears
Being with the truth is not always effortless
The sacrifices it involves may leave us breathless
Though it may be like walking on hot coals
It is always worthwhile to reach our goals
