LE MARCHÉ AUX FLEURS
UN HOMMAGE À MES PREMIERS PAS DANS L’ART.
Ce tableau, c’est un morceau de moi. Le Marché aux Fleurs m’a été inspiré par mes débuts en galerie, quand je travaillais avec mon père. À l’époque, on exposait souvent des peintures anciennes, notamment des copistes de scènes parisiennes du début du XXe siècle — des marchés, des fleuristes, des coins de rue nostalgiques.
Aujourd’hui, c’est avec mes personnages que je rends hommage à cette époque. J’ai voulu créer un pont entre les générations, entre ce Paris d’antan et mon univers coloré, urbain, rempli de poésie. Le kiosque, la verrière, les bouquets... Tout a été retravaillé avec mes codes, mes textiles, mes textures, pour créer une ambiance à la fois vintage et actuelle, pleine de souvenirs et pleine de vie.

A TRIBUTE TO MY FIRST STEPS IN ART.
This painting is a piece of me. The Flower Market was inspired by my early days in the gallery world, when I worked alongside my father. Back then, we often exhibited classical paintings — especially works by copyists depicting early 20th-century Parisian scenes: markets, florists, nostalgic street corners.
Today, through my own characters, I pay homage to that time. I wanted to create a bridge between generations, between the Paris of yesterday and my own colorful, urban universe filled with poetry. The kiosk, the glass roof, the flower bouquets... Eve- rything has been reimagined with my own visual language — my fabrics, my textures — to create an atmosphere that feels both vintage and contemporary, full of memories and full of life.
