HERE, ADULT PASCHAT IS EMERGING FROM THE SUBWAY,
LUGGAGE IN HAND, WITH A DETERMINED LOOK.
We’re in the heart of the city, but in a poetic vision of the urban landscape. The train cars are covered in graffiti, like modern frescoes, and the whole scene exudes a powerful mix of style and street culture.
This painting is a direct continuation of the work initiated with some sculptures like Equality: a stylized character, very fashionable, yet grounded in a realistic everyday life. The atmosphere is intense, visual, but never dirty. The subway almost becomes chic, elevated by art.
Everything in this painting speaks of movement, life, and identity. You sense that Paschat is not fleeing, but on a jour- ney. It’s both an inner and outer voyage. Once again, the textures (textile materials, the subway’s metal surfaces, reflections on the wet floor) bring the scene to life in a nearly tangible way.

On est en pleine ville, mais dans une vision poétique de l’urbain. Les wagons sont recouverts de graffitis comme des fresques modernes, et l’ensemble dégage un mélange puissant de style et de rue.
Ce tableau est une continuité directe du travail amorcé avec certaines sculptures comme Égalité : un personnage stylisé, très mode, mais ancré dans un quotidien réaliste. L’ambiance est chargée, visuelle, mais jamais sale. Le métro devient presque chic, sublimé par l’art.
Tout dans ce tableau parle de mouvement, de vie et d’identité. On sent que Paschat n’est pas en fuite, mais en route. C’est un voyage intérieur et extérieur. Là encore, les textures (matières textiles, surfaces métalliques du métro, reflets sur le sol mouillé) donnent vie à une scène presque palpable.
