series over the Hawkeyes, with IU nationally ranked in each of those contests. Iowa leads the all-time
series 6-3-1.
SCOUTING NO. 7 IOWA
Iowa enters the contest at 7-2 and on a
three-game win streak. The Hawkeyes
last shut out Michigan State on Sunday,
winning 5-0 at home behind three goals
from Ellie Holley. The Hawkeyes also defeated No. 14
Ohio State last weekend, winning 2-1.
Iowa has three players sharing the team lead in goals
as Sophie Sunderland, Katie Birch and Maddy Murphy each have five goals. Goalkeeper Leslie Speight
has allowed just 10 goals in nine games.
SCOUTING UC DAVIS
The Aggies are 5-3 on the season, with
each of their three losses coming by
just one goal (all were 2-1 scores). UC
Davis has allowed just seven goals in
eight games for a 0.88 goals-against-average. This is
the first ever matchup between the two schools.
