Field Hockey: Wilton Earns Top Seed for State
Playoffs

The Wilton High field hockey team has earned the top seed for the upcoming Class M state tournament and will
open the playoffs next Tuesday at home (4 p.m.) against 16th-seeded Guilford.
The Warriors (14-3-1-0) are the three-time defending state champs.
The next three highest seeded teams are Daniel Hand, Nonnewaug and Lauralton Hall. FCIAC champ New
Canaan is seeded 10th and is in the other half of the bracket from Wilton.
The championship game is scheduled for Nov. 15 at Wethersfield High School.
