#8 Kristen Godin, Senior Captain
Two Year Varsity Starter

Kristen, a senior captain, played JV as
a freshman and was JV co-captain her
sophomore year. She was pulled up to
Varsity for post season as a sophomore
and helped her team win the State M
Class championship.

She has earned 2 M Class State
Championships and as a junior was
named All Area as well as being
selected as the Norwalk Hours Athlete
of the Week and Blue Streak Player of
the Week.

Kristen has been playing for Fairfield
County United Field Hockey Club for
the past 4 years and was chosen for Festival and Disney teams as well as being on the FCU U-16 team for the
National Indoor Tournament in March, 2012. Her club team won Gold last year at JPOL’s. Prior to joining FCU
Kristen played with the Competitive Edge Field Hockey Club.

In addition, Kristen was a freshman class officer. She is a member of the Spanish Honor Society, Peervention,
Best Buddies, Bon Ami and Safe Rides. Kristen plans to continue in her sport of field hockey upon graduation.

#13 Caroline Taverna, Senior
Captain
Three Year Varsity Player

Caroline, a senior captain, has been
playing field hockey since the fourth
grade. She played on JV as a freshman
and as a sophomore, joined the varsity
team where she has earned three M
Class State Championships.

Caroline is a member of the Fairfield
County United Field Hockey Club
where she plays year round and has
been chosen for Festival and Disney
teams.

Caroline volunteers as a tutor at the FCA After-School Program and as a youth field hockey coach. Caroline
earned the AP Scholar Award and a Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Program. She
is also a member of the National Honor Society.

In college, she plans to play in the NESCAC league.
