Children's Day Celebration at TGWS
‘Children are the hands by which we take hold of heaven' - Henry Ward Beecher
Children's day in TGWS was celebrated with great pomp and splendor on 13 November, 2020. The theme of
the programme was a hilarious take on the pandemic-stricken current world scenario.
The teachers outdid themselves with their performances which ranged from singing, dancing to reciting
poetry and putting on a shadow play.
The nostalgia of teachers with regards to not being able to be with their students in close proximity owing to
the lockdown, was skilfully highlighted through a hilarious drama.
After much fun and merrymaking the children were all in smiles when logging off. It was truly a day well-
spent by celebrating the wide-eyed and wondrous child within each of us.
