               5.2 Police as first responder

                       1. The field officer from the Police department collects the primary data i.e., accident

location and time, severity and people involved in the accident from the accident
scene. If possible, Photos, Videos or Voice recordings from the location is
                          recorded.

                       2. After Primary data collection, the accident is registered in the iRAD application and
                          Accident ID is generated.

                       3. Detailed information of the collision such as Passenger & Pedestrian details,
Vehicle & Driver details and other general information of the accident location is
entered by the police in the application for the respective accident case.

                       4. Once the Accident ID is generated from the police Module, other stakeholder
Departments such as highways and transport can populate with road and vehicle
related details respectively. However, for transport department, Motor Vehicle

Inspection (MVI) request from the police Module is required to be initiated.
                       5. After the detailed data entry, Post Mortem (PM) and Drunken Drive (DD)

certificates request can be initiated from the police Module to the health Module for
members involved in the accident on a need basis. This stage forms the horizontal
linkage between the police and health Module when police acts as a first

                          responder.
                       6. Once the requests are received in the health Module, the health officials will be
able to enter the patient details and create a unique patient ID.

                       7. Finally, the health module will generate the PM and DD reports for the requested
patients and share it with the police once the patient data entry by the health official

                          is completed successfully.

                       2. After the detailed data entry by the Health official, a unique Patient ID is created
                          for the admitted patient.
                       3. Once the data entry is completed successfully, reports such as Wound Certificate

& Cause of Death can be generated from the health Module.
