After a while, the host introduced the first two speakers of the webinar. They
are Ms. Daenna Terrie Aranas and Ms. Kimberly Garcia. Both speakers are currently

in their third year taking Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in

Human Resource Management. They are also recognized as Dean’s Lister during

their first and second year. They have discussed the advantages and disadvantages

of time management. At first, the speakers assessed the students about their cur-
rent time management proficiency. There are statements regarding time manage-

ment that can be scaled from zero to two according to the participant’s aptitude.

Those participants who scored 0-20 had poor time management and should improve
their skills to assist them in enhancing their abilities and chance of success.

Participants whose scores range from 21-34 have fair or average time man-

agement skills which is better but also needs an increase of skills. Lastly,

those students who scored 35-40 are recognized as individuals who have ex-

cellent time management skills. Upon doing the reflection, the result showed
that all the participants gained scores ranging from 21-34 which is a good

thing. However, they must use the knowledge and guidelines provided by the

speakers to improve their management of time.

After this, Ms. Daenna Terrie Aranas discussed the disadvantages of poor time

management. She mentioned that most individuals had experienced difficulties han-

dling various activities despite full effort. Thus, she suggested that an individual
should find the root of this problem instead of doing endless to-do-list. At first, she

tackled procrastination which is common to every individual. According to Ms. Ara-

nas, procrastination is the most obvious cause of time management problems. This

also led to stress, anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. She also men-

tioned that people with poor time management have the higher risk of getting

low grade and test scores. When having problems in balancing time, academ-

ic performance is also affected. Additionally, she also tackled the chronic lack
of sleep due to poor managing of time. Unhealthy eating habits was also a

disadvantage in a way that students end up eating junk foods and unhealthy

snacks. Lastly, lack of punctuality can be reflected to people with poor time manage-

ment skills. Inappropriate balance of time led to late completion of time.
