The English Village is an online certi ed English Platform
for schools, which is accredited by Oxford International and Oxford Education.
The content is spread over a 36 week period. Each study week students will work on interactive reading, reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar exercises, listening and listening compre- hension, designed to take 20 minutes each and are automatically marked.
The English Village o er support year-round which has been developed for students who are looking for more ways to improve their English and teachers who are looking for new tools to extend their tuition.
Students may be given a level according to their school year or a placement test (Oxford TCC) may be taken to select the most appropriate level.
The learning materials are created by an academic team who are supported by regional consul- tants who work to make sure our programme complements the English teaching in the partici- pating schools.
The syllabus is based around relevant and interesting topics such as Entertainment, Environment, Science and Technology, Sports and Fashion, and is available to all teachers at the beginning of the course.
One advantage of English Village is that it has been designed for students of all levels, starting from A1 level and going up to a C2 level on the Common European Framework.
English Village allows students to learn, practice and apply their English language skills. Teachers have unlimited access to the Teachers’ Panel that enables them to closely monitoy the progress of their students and detect sutdents who need extra help in their English learning.
At the end of the 36 week period students who complete 80% or more of the English Village will receive, according to the level that they practiced.
