This year has been nothing short of exhilarating, filled with numerous highlights that have shaped our
journey. I would like to take a moment to mention just a few of them.

In August 2022, an impressive 84% of students from our graduating class achieved A grades in their final
Year 12 exams—an extraordinary accomplishment that sets the bar high for all of us. Additionally,
Hussain Ali and Muhammad Jabran, two exceptional students were honoured with the Cambridge
International Outstanding Achiever Awards for their outstanding performances in Physics and Urdu. We
have also garnered several accolades for our participation in various competitions, such as those held at
Curtin University, RIT, the PWC challenge, and the American University of Sharjah MUN. Furthermore, our
attendance at numerous events has earned us recognition for our remarkable contributions.

The introduction of the Al Irshad program stands out as a noteworthy initiative that has seen many of our
students support academics in other sections of the school, demonstrating their commitment to
                  excellence and collaboration.
In January, the KHDA inspected AUS, and our Sixth Form Section received an impressive seven upgrades
to "very good." This recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of our students and teachers alike.

Throughout the year, the student leadership team orchestrated a multitude of wonderful events and
provided opportunities for all of us to actively engage in school life. From Pink Day with the Girls in Year 7
to Friday Fair, a business initiative, and The Box Project, a community service endeavor aimed at
supporting the nannies in AUS—each event has left a lasting impact on our hearts. Of course, we cannot
forget the highlight of our year, Ethnic Day, which showcased the vibrant diversity within our school
community. Thank you to Ali, Anosha, Sheema and Kingshuk for being exceptional role models.

Our Sports Captains, Basil and Sabakun, deserve a special mention for their exceptional efforts in
organizing numerous interhouse events and competitions. I am delighted to announce that the Year 13s
emerged victorious in Football, Cricket, and the Tug of War—a testament to our collective spirit and
                  determination.

As if our year wasn't already bustling with activities, many of our graduates have seized the opportunity
to gain valuable work experience in the FS and Primary Sections, bolstering their university applications
                  and CVs.

Thanks needs to be extended to our Director Ms Arwa, the Board of Directors, ELG Team, staff, operations
and administrative personnel for their continuous guidance and support.

To our Class of 2023 graduates, we wish you all the very best in your exciting new adventures. There is no
doubt you are all ready for the challenge. May the memories of Arab Unity School always be in your heart.
Stay in touch with your friends and let us know how you are forging exciting careers in different parts of
                  the world.

If 2022—2023 is anything to go by, this coming academic year can only be another exciting and
                  rewarding year.

                  Have a relaxing summer break
                  Kind Regards
                  Mrs Luanne Cash
