Author visits’ are exciting! A visit from an author
can expose students to the wonders of reading
and writing in a unique in a way that they’ve
never considered. We, as educators, at AUS are
constantly reminding children to view
themselves as authors, to write for audience and
purpose We were incredibly lucky to have Raisha
Lalwani, giving opportunities to the students
build relationships with the written world,
inspire them to pursue creative endeavors, and
connect lessons learned in the classroom with
the wider world.
