I was surprised by the call of the head of the Association for Talents in
high school, me and 3 students to tell us that there is a competition to
design a robot that can play football. Many questions we asked, many
fears that we expected, feelings of joy and enthusiasm touched us. I came
home with enthusiasm, telling my father to order 5 robots from the
Internet, and all we had to do was assemble the pieces together. I
brought them to school and the simple team started organizing tasks, as I
was then responsible for the robots, including assembly, preservation and
maintenance. I assembled my first two robots within a day based solely on
the assembly instructions and got the job done right. The preparatory
period has ended and the school staff has been presented so that we can
raise it at the local level, only to discover that the application for the
competition ended the day before!

The experience was useful and enjoyable, and most importantly, if I had
not been elected to this competition, I would not have known about robots
except their name.
