Rewind Diner
Rewind Diner is a fun, retro-themed diner... in space! During the day, guests can eat-in and enjoy the re-runs of classic sitcoms like The Honeymooners, Leave it to Beaver, I Love Lucy, and The Dick Van Dyke Show on holographic screens from the comfort of their anti-gravity booths and tables. They can also choose the spacecraft hop service and enjoy the view of space as waitresses wearing jet packs deliver their food. But it is when the staff for the diner shift arrive that the real entertainment begins.
When the diner’s owner, Art, hired his crew, he didn’t realize exactly what a cast of characters he was bringing on. There is Hugh, the Robotic Chef of the future whose technology is said to be years ahead of its time, but frequently malfunctions and Hugh’s robotic wife Barbra who works as the restaurant hostess. Then there are Jerry and Toni, the waitress and the soda jerk, who have a love-hate relationship. Together with a host of guest stars, Art, his family, staff, and the guests find themselves in the midst of their very own 1950s-style sitcom.
