Bios
Nancy Glass, PhD, MPH, RN, is an associate professor at Johns Hopkins University
School of Nursing and associate director, Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health,
Baltimore, Maryland. Her areas of interest include community-based interventions to
improve the safety, health, and employment of abused women and their children.
Karen B. Eden, PhD, is an assistant professor in the department of medical informat-
ics and epidemiology at Oregon Health & Science University, Portland, Oregon. Her
areas of interest include decision science and the development and implementation of
patient decision aids.
Tina Bloom, PhD, MPH, RN, is an assistant professor at the University of Missouri,
Columbia. Her areas of interest include intimate partner violence intervention and the
role of stress and violence in maternal-child health disparities.
Nancy Perrin, PhD, is a senior investigator at The Center for Health Research, Kaiser
Permanente, Northwest, Portland, Oregon. She is a methodologist and statistician
