There are too many favourite memories over the past
five years for me to list here. Any expression here would
be a fragment of my experience, but if I were forced to
pick one it would be a trip in 2017 to Halifax for a
conference. I had never travelled to the Maritimes
before so just seeing Halifax was eye-opening. The
picturesque scenery from the hotel we stayed at of
boats travelling along the river, refreshing air, and a
much more laid back pace in the city was an agreeable
change from the typical congested feeling one gets
when working in the heart of Toronto. The conference it
self was great with many helpful talks about various
issues related to research ethics but getting a chance to
explore Halifax after the conference was over will
definitely stick with me.
