FAZEENA KHAMIS, RN Favourite Memory

I started working at St. Joseph’s in 2001 on 6M as a
Start Date: January 2001
bedside nurse. I worked for 8 years at the bed side as a

Registered Nurse. In 2010 I became the Team Leader of

the unit.

This was reaching my milestone. I enjoyed working with

the interdisciplinary team, learning about different

cultures and practices.

My favourite memory is being nominated and wining

the Lori award for cancer care in 2010.

As a student nurse, I did a lot of my clinical placement at

St. Joseph’s and it was my dream to work at St. Joseph’s

Health Centre. I feel honoured to have fulfilled my

dream.
