Q: I am planning to start travelling soon. How
1 will that work with volunteering?
A: As you read in the Keeping Safe at Unity
Health chapter, upon return from international
travel you must call the Covid-19 Call Centre to
be cleared before returning to volunteering.
This is true regardless of mode of travel.
As of Aug. 9, 2021, fully vaccinated volunteers
are no longer required to quarantine but must
report their negative Covid-19 test results.
Testing is offered in the Great Room of the
Houses of Providence.
Unity Health Travel guidelines are updated as
travel restrictions change.
It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself
with the current travel restrictions. Please refer
to the provincial and federal government
websites for more information on the latest
travel restrictions.
