                INGREDIENTS                           DIRECTIONS

                Salad
                                                      Prepare the Salad
                1  8-ounce  package  shredded
                lettuce                               Divide lettuce among plates.
                1 small candy cane beet (see          Arrange the beet and apple slices on

                                                      Prepare the Dressing
                Dressing                              In  a  small  bowl,  mix  dressing
                1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon Lemon          ingredients together until combined.
                Juice                                 Drizzle  dressing  over  salad  and
                1/4 cup oil                           sprinkle  chopped  walnuts  over  the
                                                      top.
                1/4 cup Honey
                1 tablespoon sugar                    Note:   Candy    cane   beets   are
                                                      beautifully  striped  pink  and  white
                2 tablespoons white wine              beets that taste sharper than a sweet
                                                      red beet, almost like a radish. If you
                1/4 teaspoon salt
                1/4 teaspoon pepper                   with a watermelon radish or a regular
                                                      radish.
