Dear Readers of the Bulletin,

I hope this finds you well and in good health. Instead of an ad with fancy graphics, I
figured I would try and write to you directly in the hopes of appealing to your kindness
and giving heart.

Yad L’Achim helps save Jewish lives. We help rescue Jewish women & children that are
trapped and their lives are in danger. True Pikuach Nefesh and Pidyon Shvuyim.

Only with your help can we save them. There is no greater mitzvah in the Torah than
Pidyon Shvuyim. Imagine if a five-year-old girl was sitting next to you and begging you
for a few dollars to save her life; please give with this thought in mind.

Tu B’Shvat is fast approaching. Yad L’Achim has once again arranged for Talmidei
Chachamim to daven in Amuka at the resting place of the Tanna Yonasan Ben Uziel, in
Meron at Reb Shimon Bar Yochai, and at the kever of the Arizal. The Arizal wrote that Tu
B’Shvat is a special day of segulah for shidduchim.

Please consider making a small donation to help save lives and submit your names for
tefillah. Tefillos can be for Shidduchim, Parnassah, Health, Children and all personal
requests. Note: There is no minimum donation required to submit names for tefillah.
