                          Cytology is often diagnostic. However, in less straightforward cases, a definitive diagnosis may
                          require histopathology and immunohistochemistry. The most  specific marker used on forma-
                          lin-fixed samples is the ionized calcium-binding adaptor molecule 1 (IBA1).
