Hello! I am reaching out to you today because we here at Horst Construction appreciate the value and knowledge you supply
to the religious community in our area, and we would love to discuss any opportunities for partnership, sponsorship, or
educational events with Everence. It has been a few years since we worked with you and we thought it was time to
reconnect and reintroduce our company and services.
I have enclosed a flip-book that showcases some of the services, programs, and experience Horst Construction has to offer.
We have been a family-owned, Christian-values based company since our inception over 125 years ago. Building and
renovating houses of worship is our speciality and we have been blessed with the opportunity to guide hundreds - if not
thousands - of churches with their construction projects.
At Horst, we believe in building relationships before buildings. We aim to support our clients with their construction
journeys from start to finish. We offer a full-range of services that begin with a free consultation to discuss the specific needs
of a church or religious organization. Our Master Planning program is one-of-a-kind, and allows churches to partner with our
in-house Registered Architect to dig deep into their vision for growth and determine the best path forward. The best part is,
regardless of how many updates and changes a church needs to make during the Master Planning phase, they do not pay
additional fees. We want to work with our clients to design the plan that best works for them - and we’ll keep working with
them until we do. Master Planning services are a very cost effective way to approach a project in the early stages to ensure a
church ends up with the facility they want, need, and can afford.
When it comes time to prepare for the project, our team of knowledgeable professionals will prepare budgets and help the
owner select the other team members needed for their project. We can work with them to value engineer their plans - and
98% of clients who go through the value engineering process save money with our suggestions. We always work with our
clients to ensure we are staying within their budget and getting them the most project possible. We are fierce advocates for
our clients throughout the process, and feel that it is an honor to be of service in growing God’s Kingdom.
A few ideas for partnership might include:
• Co-hosting an event - in person or in an online webinar format
• Developing some tools that your audience may find useful
• A guest blog series related to relevant construction-related topics (we could explore cross-blogging too!)
• Filming a video series for your audience that answers commonly asked questions or provides high-level overviews of
relevant construction topics and information that isn’t easy to obtain through Google searches
• In-person small group visits to some of our noteable projects to generate ideas and discussion for growing churches that
are looking for inspiration
• Sponsorship or participation in other events that would reach the area’s religious leaders
This list is just a starting point and we are open to further discussion of whatever the Everence team feels is most needed by
your clients. We would love to discuss further and see if there is any opportunity for synergy between our organizations. I will
follow up with you at the end of the month or you can feel free to contact us with any questions or to schedule a time to chat.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Sincerely,
Jessica Ferrell, Marketing Manager
