9.2 → FRONT-BACK BEATS
Although this movement can be energetically and technically assimilated at certain movements on the horizontal bar/high bar or the still rings in artistic gymnastics, it is differentiated by a basic component, the fact that we cannot rotate our hands at a fixed point (the bar) or separate our arms (the rings) while performing the beats, impeding a circular movement and limiting our “pendu- lum motion”. However, certain energies and techniques will be similar and their application will optimize the movement by executing it with greater precision.
Keep in mind that performing this type of beats on rope can increases the risk of shoulder injury. (kinetic parameters shoulders).
