1. Vault: A gymnastics apparatus used by both men and women in artistic gymnastics, or
the skills performed upon it, to perform a vaulting skill.
2. Balance beam: It is a 4-inch-wide (100 mm) platform upon which gymnasts perform
tumbling and dance skills.

4. Floor: The event performed upon this apparatus is known as Floor Exercise.
5. Clubs: The clubs look like bottles. They are made of wood or plastic.
6. Layout: A position in which the gymnast's body is completely stretched, toes pointed
and legs straight.
7. Hoop: it is used by rhythmic gymnasts too. The hoop is made of wood. Gymnasts toss
it and catch it, spin it, swing it, and roll it.
