About The Aerial Movement®
The Aerial Movement® is a new systematic approach for aerial training that includes theory, practice, and a unique
methodology that combines biomechanics, programmed training, technique, conditioning, and preparatory exercises. Focused on the progression, development and execution of dynamic, explosive, and slow motion movements in aerial acrobatics and aerial calisthenics, this program was created as the result of a detailed movement analysis. Through this analysis, every movement was broken down to its basic components, like the "links" that form a long "chain". The aim of the program is to work gradually and methodically in order to feel and understand the key movements in aerial acrobatics and aerial calisthenics.
Considering that a deep understanding of the basic components of each movement increases our body vocabulary and potential, favoring the execution of the subsequence movements and expanding our artistic creativity possibilities in an optimal, precise and safe way, the interest arises in making circus artists, aerial acrobats or calisthenics enthusiasts, professional or amateurs, understand the importance of not focusing on the “final trick” but on the fact that any movement requires an evolutionary physical process for its subsequent execution in a safe way, avoiding any possible injuries (within the risk entailed by our discipline), stagnation or results opposite to those desired, helping us attain our goals by developing a strong aerial acrobatics and aerial calisthenics technique, as well as acquiring a deep understanding of what is happening with our bodies when executing each skill.
Consequently, The Aerial Movement® has created a pyramidal educational system offering: CERTIFIED MASTERCLASS LEVEL 1 & LEVEL 2, as well as an INTERNATIONAL TEACHER TRAINING CERTIFICATION T.A.M. FOR AERIAL ACROBATICS AND AERIAL CALISTHENICS LEVEL 1 & LEVEL 2, besides Workshops, Online Clases, Virtual Platform, and Didactic Material among others.
About The Masterclass Level 1
The Aerial Movement® Masterclass Level 1 is a new systematic approach for aerial training that includes theory, practice, and a
unique methodology that combines biomechanics, programmed training, technique, conditioning, and preparatory exercises. Focused on the progression, development and execution of dynamic, explosive, and slow motion movements in aerial acrobatics and aerial calisthenics, this program was created as the result of a detailed movement analysis. Through this analysis, every movement was broken down to its basic components, like the “links” that form a long “chain”.
25 hours of theory & practice, with an audiovisual support through a PowerPoint presentation and a certified endorsed by the T.A.M. (The Aerial Movement®) and F.E.S.W.C. (Spanish Federation of Street Workout and Calisthenics), make this program unique in the world.
Movements such as:
• Front-back beats
• Diagonal/Scissor beats
• Side (bell/plank) beats
• Twist/Pirouette & Inside twist
• Back flag/Side planche
• Vertical/Elephant lift
• Spin
• Roll-ups: regular/classic roll-up, roll-up to back flag/side planche, hands-free roll-up • Front lever & Back lever
• Etc.
in addition to aerial specific exercises and conditioning for dynamic, explosive, and slow motion movements, etc., will be done during the Masterclass Level 1.
The aim of the program is to work gradually and methodically in order to feel and understand the key movements and provide the necessary knowledge to guide athletes to improve and optimize their training sessions through a safe and effective methodology focused on developing a strong technique in aerial acrobatics and aerial calisthenics, as well as acquiring a deep knowledge of what happens with our body when we execute each movement.
