    About this manual
The information included in this manual is complementary to the Masterclass Level 1 workshop. This manual and the workshop
were designed to support each other. This manual could contain information that may not be provided during the live workshop. Likewise, the live workshop will allow a greater understanding of the topics listed here that would not be possible from consulting the manual alone.
There are many paths that lead to the same destination; The Aerial Movement’s Masterclass Level 1 is just one of them. Some of the topics presented in this manual have been summarized from scientific publications, and were selected based on their effectiveness in helping students attain their aerial acrobatics and aerial calisthenics goals.

Whether we are circus artists, aerial acrobats or calisthenics enthusiasts, or consider ourselves professionals or amateurs, at this level, we are all athletes. And as an athlete, having a basic knowledge of biomechanics and nutrition, and a deep understanding of proper technique, conditioning, and flexibility training, is critical, since these are key components of any movement discipline.
This manual was created to address these knowledge needs, guiding athletes to improve their training sessions through a safe and effective methodology focused on developing a strong aerial acrobatics and aerial calisthenics technique, as well as encouraging the acquisition of a deep understanding of what is happening with their bodies when executing each skill.
While all precautions have been taken in the preparation of this manual, the author assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions, or for problems or damages resulting directly or indirectly caused or allegedly caused by the use of the information contained in this manual.
