Manila Office Year 2020
All hands grand champion
It was expected for the Manila office to put up a fight after landing 2nd place
in the ALL HANDS competition back in 2019. They were determined more than ever
to secure the 1st place this time around.
The young team from Manila executed a flawless performance and managed
to impress the judges for a unanimous vote that ultimately placed the trophy in their
hands.
Behind the scenes, the team went through tedious planning and even sleep-
less nights. They spent countless hours rehearsing, coordinating, and editing, even
right down to the very last day before the actual performance. Not one stone was
left unturned to ensure that every member of the Manila office was in-sync come
“the big day”.
In the end it all paid off. Manila’s performance exceeded expectations and
their creativity (of having two endings), set the bar even higher for the rest of the
competitors. The teaser that was sent out prior to the big day, along with the encore
performance was truly a smart and fun way to entice the rest of the BCGers. Manila
showed that even a pandemic couldn’t stop them!
Well done, Manilla! But overall, the win really belongs to ALL of US in BCG SEA.
We have managed to endure a difficult 2020/2021 and the resilience por-
trayed by the Manila office is but a mere reflection of how strong we are as a com-
munity. Despite restrictions and adversities, all offices in SEA were able to deliver
performances that managed to touch us, and even got us teary-eyed. Lastly, I do
hope that when each of you look at the trophy awarded to Manila, you get to see a
part of yourself too. So take pride in yourself.
YOU ARE CHAMPIONS
