The Law Enforcement Technology (LET) Division has become a critical work
group as most everything WCSO touches has a technological component. This
team is responsible for maintaining the jail management system, criminal
records system, mobile data computers, body cameras, jail security system,
GIS and mapping, as well as capturing data from the 9-1-1 center and
computer aided dispatch (CAD). The team is continuously working on
research and development for technological efficiencies.

1. Identify technological efficiencies to improve public safety.
2. Improve agency transparency by implementing successful electronic
platforms.

3. Research and replace vulnerable legacy systems.
