The East and West Patrol Divisions are WCSO’s largest public-facing work
group. Certified staff in these divisions are the primary law enforcement
service provider for more than 240,000 residents living in unincorporated
Washington County. If this area were to become a city, it would be the second-
largest city in Oregon. They are also the primary law enforcement providers to
the cities of Cornelius, Banks and Gaston.

1. Be a proactive customer service police provider.
2. All communication with the public and staff will be professional and
compassionate.
3. Efficiently provide excellent police services.
