There were high scores around company values, continuous improvement and respect. However, 23% felt they disagreed that they could challenge how things were done. 88% of colleagues feel they demonstrate our values every day, supported by 72% agreeing they witness everyone demonstrating our values daily.

86% agreed communication was effective within their own team but only 32% agreed it was effective between departments. Some colleagues have mentioned how unsettling change can be when there is minimal communication or no consideration of the impacts on a more holistic scale.

Work/life balance and being in control of workload had high positive scores. Work/life balance for many is supported by the ability to work from home. There is some uncertainty voiced about how the balance will be after returning to the office in the future. The scores for having a strong focus on promoting and valuing mental well-being were also mainly positive.

86% feel respected by their colleagues. While this leaves 14% not indicating they feel respected, only 2% of these disagreed with no one strongly disagreeing. The group is perceived as encouraging an inclusive working environment and thereis a good overall sense of belonging. Feeling emotionally supported returned mixed results which erred on the side of positive.

81% of colleagues expressed that when they had ideas and suggestions they know how to share them, yet 65% felt listened to. Most departments appear to do well with collaboration at a local level, there is a feeling of disharmony across the business and the need for more internal communication and involvement.
