Akord Kvint—String Instruments

Akord Kvint is a Czech company that produces exceptional concert and master violins, violas and cellos. The firm
was founded in 1991 in Luby, a small town with a long tradition of string instrument craftsmanship going back to
the middle of the seventeenth century. The owners employ both famous and young talented violin makers,
mostly master luthiers to create the most exquisite stringed instruments. Their master luthiers produce violins,
violas and cellos in five quality levels. All of them, except for cellos, are available in all sizes and designed after
the models of Stradivari and Guarneri. All materials, parts and accessories are chosen from the most reputable
sources in Germany, Austria and France. The materials are high quality resonant spruce and deeply figured
Bosnian maple. Ebony, rosewood and boxwood accessories and high-grade quality strings such as Thomastic
Dominant, Vision Titanium, Larsen, Evah Pirazzi, etc. are used.
ARS Model 026 violins
The Akord Kvint Model 26A violin is an advanced student violin and comes with Tonica strings. They have flamed
maple back, sides and neck, and their tailpiece is made of quality natural black ebony
ARS Model 028 violin
The Akord Kvint Model 28A violin is ideal for the more advanced students. Its has a rich chestnut brown colour
with a beautiful flamed back, sides, neck and top made from selected resonant spruce. Its accessories are finely
polished ebony and decorated with Parisian eye. It is fitted with Thomastik Dominant strings and Aubert bridge
with a V-shaped ebony insert.
ARS Model 029 violin
The Akord Kvint Model 29A violin is hand rubbed to produce a lightly shaded golden brown colour, with a
beautifully flamed back, sides and neck that match the outstanding quality spruce top. Ebony fittings, bridge
with an ebony insert, and Thomastik Dominant strings complete this fine violin.
H. Lorenz Model No. 2
The Akord Kvint Model 2 violin is fully solid with flamed maple back, neck and sides. It has a Spruce top, Ebony
fittings, Ultra Wittner tailpiece, Teller bridge No. 46 and Dominant strings.
H. Lorenz Model No. 3
The Akord Kvint Model 3 violin is fully solid with flamed maple back, neck and sides. It has a Spruce top and is
hand rubbed to produce an antique golden brown colour. It comes with ebony fittings, Ultra Wittner tailpiece,
Teller bridge No. 46 and Dominant strings.
H. Lorenz Model No. 5
The Akord Kvint Model 5 violin is fully solid with flamed maple back, neck and sides. It has a Spruce top and is
hand antique varnished using traditional formulas an techniques. It comes with ebony fittings, Ultra Wittner
tailpiece, Wittner chinrest and Dominant strings.
