The Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida (AAASWFL) is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3)
community based organization funded through the Older Americans Act. We are an Aging and
Disability Resource Center with a customer-focused system for information and referrals to
public and private pay long-term support options. Our service area includes Charlotte, Collier,
DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Lee and Sarasota counties. Through the ADRC, AAASWFL provides
access to local community resources designed to enhance the lives of adults 60+, disabled
adults ages 18-59, and their caregivers. Our goal is to provide easy, customer-friendly access
to services which can improve quality of life.
