Working with the specific needs of dementia and memory care, these can
be housed within levels of care communities or stand alone residences.
NURSING & SKILLED CARE
Offering acute, short and or long term care in a specialized manner such
as what is found in a hospital setting.

Jan Overton is the Director of Admissions and Business Office Services at
Lexington Medical Center Extended Care and Carroll Campbell Place. With
388 beds, LMC Extended Care is the largest skilled nursing facility in the
Carolinas. The staff prides itself on maintaining a small community feel for its
residents, providing compassionate long-term care and rehabilitation therapy.
Residents at Extended Care have access to a state-of-the-art rehabilitation
center that offers one-on-one training for steady progress toward recovery.
